Stage Lights Dance Academy

​Miss Kaitlyn Peterson is from Charlotte, North Carolina. She started dancing at age five with Charlotte Ballet, where she studied ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, pas de deux and character. Through the years, Kaitlyn has had the opportunity to attend numerous summer intensives, these include The Nutmeg Conservatory, Magnus Midwest, The Gelsey Kirkland Academy, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Chautauqua Institution, Houston Ballet, and Exploring Ballet with Suzanne Farrell. In 2015, she joined the School of Ballet Arizona under the direction of Carlos Valcárcel. After one year with the school, she was promoted to the Studio Company. This is her second season dancing with The First State Ballet Theatre.
